Personal Information Collected
PYLON collects personal information (information from and about you which identifies you as an individual) when you register with any of our Properties and when you view, use or purchase products or services through any of our Properties. When you contact us through any of the Properties or create a member account, we may ask for information such as your name and last name, a physical street address, an email address, your telephone number, and, if you make a purchase through any of our Properties, your credit card number and related information. PYLON may also collect personal information about you offline, for example, if you provide information to us when you purchase our products. PYLON may also receive personal information about you from other sources, including, databases that are available to the public, or from marketing partners.
PYLON may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to fulfill your requests for products and services, if applicable; (2) to provide you with targeted offers and advertising; (3) to contact you, including contact through text messages; (4) to review usage and operations of the Properties, improve the operation of the Properties, and to accomplish our business purposes; (5) to address problems with any of our Properties, our business or our products and services; (6) to protect the security or integrity of our Properties and our business; (7) to provide functionality such as providing you with customer service or responding to your requests; (8) to analyze and predict your preferences and to personalize your experience while using the Properties; (9) to allow you to participate in contests or similar promotions; and (10) to aggregate or anonymize information about you (which is no longer considered personal information).
Non-Personal Information is information that does not reveal your specific identity. PYLON and its third-party service providers may collect Non-Personal Information, including, for example: (1) browser and device information; (2) Mobile App usage data; (3) server log files; (4) information collected through cookies and other technologies; (5) location information; and/or (5) aggregated information.
PYLON and its third-party service providers may collect Non-Personal Information through various means, including, for example: (1) through your browser; (2) through use of the Mobile Apps by you; (3) through server log files; (4) through your use of location-enabled services; (5) through your interaction with the Properties; (6) by aggregating information; and (7) by using cookies.
We may combine Non-Personal Information with your personal information, and if we do, we will treat the combined information as personal information as long as the information remains combined.
Under the following circumstances, we may still be required to share your personal information:
- If we respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process, or if we need to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
- If we transfer information about you in the event that PYLON is acquired by, reorganized or merged with another company.
We may also disclose the information we collect from and about you to: (1) our affiliates; (2) third-party providers of services such as web hosting, order fulfillment, credit card processing, and other services; (3) third parties in order to enable them to send you marketing communications; (4) our product distributors, which may use information about you to send you communications they believe you might find interesting (we do not control and are not responsible for a distributor’s use of your personal information); and (5) third parties that sponsor contests or similar promotions.
Information Sharing and Marketing
We understand and respect that not all customers or visitors may want to allow us to share information with other select companies or to use the information we collect about you to send you information about our products and services. If you do not want PYLON to share your customer information or to contact you for marketing purposes, please immediately email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will remove your name from lists we share with other companies and from lists that we use to contact persons for marketing purposes. Please note that this request may take up to six to eight weeks to be effective. When contacting us, please clearly state your request, including your name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
Data Protection Rights Under the GDPR
Under applicable data protection laws such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, users may be entitled to the following:
The right to access - You may have the right to request PYLON for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a fee for this service.
The right to rectification - You may have the right to request that PYLON correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You may also have the right to request PYLON to complete information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure - You may have the right to request that PYLON erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing - You may have the right to request that PYLON restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing - You may have the right to object to PYLON’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability - You may have the right to request that PYLON transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have a right to knowledge, access, and deletion of their personal data under the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents also have a right to opt out of the sale of their personal data by a business and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising one of their California privacy rights. PYLON does not sell your personal data to anyone for any purpose, and does not discriminate in response to privacy rights requests.
PYLON provides notice of our data practices in this Privacy and Security Notice. This includes what personal data is collected, the source of the personal data, and the purposes of use, as well as whether PYLON discloses that personal data and if so, the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed. California residents who have purchased a PYLON product or service may exercise their rights directly or through an authorized agent by signing in to their PYLON account and making a Data Privacy Request. If you are a California resident without a PYLON account and you or your authorized agent would like to exercise your privacy rights, requests may also be made by:

If you do not have a PYLON account, PYLON may ask you for information which we consider necessary to verify your identity for security and to prevent fraud. This information may include name, contact information, and information related to your transaction or relationship with PYLON, but the specific information requested may differ depending on the circumstances of your request for your security and to protect privacy rights. If you request deletion of your personal data, please note, that we will both render certain personal data about you permanently unrecoverable and also de-identify certain personal data.
PYLON does not target its website to children, and we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children without obtaining prior verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a subscriber is under the age of 13 and has registered without prior verifiable parental consent, we will remove their personally identifiable information from our files.
Security and Retention Period
We use a secure server (SSL) certified by Geotrust to encrypt and store all of your personal information.
Unless indicated otherwise at the time of the collection of your personal data (e.g. within a form completed by you), we erase your personal data if the retention of that personal data is no longer necessary (i) for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or (ii) to comply with legal obligations (such as retention obligations under tax or commercial laws).
